LSMCE Digital Library Project

GOH is a proud member of the Louis Stokes Midwest Center of Excellence Leadership Team charged with communicating best practices, tools, and information garnered from the grantee community to increase the use of proven LSAMP model strategies for attracting and retaining underrepresented minority (URM) students in STEM fields at non-LSAMP institutions. GOH recently led a three-phase effort to digitalize and catalogue historical files and develop the LSMCE Broadening Participation Digital Library (LSMCE BP DL). We are currently developing plans to accept additional content into the library. FIMA Correspondence Management

Working onsite at FEMA, alongside our prime contractor PwC and FIMA personnel, GOH provided information management, records management, business process improvement, and systems development to improve correspondence management processes and internal controls. Successes include the development of a SharePoint based tracking system used to manage congressional correspondence, development of automated weekly and monthly tracking reports, elimination of non-compliant 10-day and 30-day response targets, and over 50% backlog reduction.
